The following examples will help you understand our products:

Your line of credit is KES 10,000, and you choose to withdraw KES 5,000 loan amount. Your loan term is 180 days. Your interest rate is 12% per annum.

Your one-time processing fee is KES 300; Your interest is calculated as KES 5,000 * 12% / 365 = KES 1.64 per day.

If you decide to repay the loan after 150 days, your repayment amount is calculated as follows:

Principal: KES 5,000

One-time processing fee: KES 300

Interest: KES 5,000 * 12% / 365 * 150 = KES 246

Your total repayment amount: KES 5,000 + 300 + 246 = KES 5,546

Comprehensive interest rate: 26.57%

Helasasa is a personal line of credit product (PLOC) that provides you with a preset borrowing limit. Once your borrowing limit is approved, you can withdraw any amount (usually with a minimum withdrawal amount) at any time and as many times as you want within the borrowing limit.

You can repay at any time according to your personal needs within the agreed maximum repayment period, and interest will only be charged during the period when you use the loan. Once you complete the repayment, the corresponding amount will revert to your available limit.

• The repayment period is long and flexible, allowing you to borrow and repay at any time within the agreed maximum period without incurring additional fees.
• Flexible use - you can withdraw the loan amount multiple times or any amount within the limit according to your personal needs.
• Revolving limit - after the loan is paid off, your corresponding available limit will be restored immediately.
